Captain Patrick White & Kiwanis President Tyler Fleming
Nov. 28, 2017
Elizabethton Police Captain Patrick White was awarded the second Distinguished Service Award by Elizabethton Kiwanis on Nov. 28, 2017. This follows his reception of the Attorney General’s Award for Excellence in Law Enforcement, and the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces award. He received the highest award an officer can get following a more than two-year long operation that resulted in the indictment of 55 people, the freeing of numerous sex slaves and confiscation of large quantities of cocaine and marijuana. He was recognized by Attorney General Jeff Sessions in Washington D.C. which was broadcast live on C-SPAN. Elizabethton Kiwanis Club is proud to recognize the achievements of Captain White and honored to have such an outstanding officer on our local law enforcement team.
