Thanks Joni Cannon of Cap the Gap for Foster Care-Carter, Johnson, Unicoi for updating the club on the mission and growth of Cap the Gap. This program supplements the services of Northeast TN Department of Children’s Services by providing resources and funding for tutoring, band instruments, sports equipment, birthday presents and more. This helps foster children establish a sense of belonging and a sense of self in what can be a very difficult time. Cap the Gap now partners with Isaiah 117 House, and together they are improving the quality of life for hundreds of children. Proud to have both of these organizations active right here in Elizabethton!
